I especially think about his biological father. Was he a noble or a commoner? Did Mithrun’s mother truly love him or was it a fling? Did the affair last long? And when did Mithrun find out the truth?

I think if he found out pre-dungeon, he’d refuse to ever meet his biological father, resent his mother (more than he already did), and try to pretend that he was a legitimate son. It would be another insecurity, another quality of his life and himself to hate.

Post-dungeon, he wouldn’t care. Why would he ever want to meet him? It doesn’t matter.

Post-canon, I think he’d still not care, but wonder sometimes if it might be beneficial. Kabru is always talking about closure, so…

I headcanon that his parents are obsessed with their image as a family and their connections, which contributed a little to why pre-dungeon Mithrun was like that. I think post-canon Mithrun would avoid them just bc they’re tiring, and for 20-ish years treated him like the unwanted, secret child hidden in the attic. He went from the favorite(except when it mattered, like when choosing who to send to the canaries, ofc they wouldn’t favor the bastard) to the son that they pretended didn’t exist. And when he becomes Captain, they wanna claim him again— though not as much as before, seeing as he’s not ~perfect~ anymore. Once he starts to learn how to respect himself, he wouldn’t put up with them. He wouldn’t put up with them before that either, but it was more just bc he was apathetic towards having a relationship with them.

But I think about how they might be as people. Maybe they stayed together, and his not-biological father chose to raise him only because it would be looked down upon by their peers and other nobility if they divorced. He might be humiliated that his wife cheated on him, but pleased that Mithrun was outwardly charming and able, unlike his real son who he didn’t prefer bc ableism. And that, combined with elven society, contributed to Mithrun’s complexes. So, pre-dungeon Mithrun might’ve just been like decor to them, a pretty trinket on the shelf intended to impress their peers. And when the trinket broke, they just brushed the pieces beneath the furniture to be ignored.

🌑Creepypastas Personalities and things they do in my eyes🌑

🫀 Eyeless Jack is very stoic, not showing much emotion ever. If he has to, for example if he helps to calm down Sally he’ll show concern. But outside of the mansion he never shows emotion. He’s kind when he wants to be, and isn’t completely heartless. If a pasta that he particularly likes is sick than he’ll go out of his way to check on them and grabbing something they need and once his sees that they’re okay he’s gone. If one of the proxies gets hurt in the field? He’s actually throwing a fit that they should be more careful. He’s one of those types of people where he gets mad when someone’s hurt because he couldn’t stop them from it, but he’ll never admit it.

🌲 Slenderman I see as a father figure for everyone. He’s is like a single dad. With the help of two out of his 3 brothers (offenderman is seen as a disgrace to his family’s name and unfit to be around children, especially Sally) He lets the kids (the grown adults that most of them are) rant if they want and tries to have fun with them. He understands that almost all of them didn’t have good childhoods and he feels bad. That’s why he keeps taking them in, having them promise to work for him. Once they say yes, he takes them in and the mansion grows another room (or tombs as I like to call them) 🎮 Ben is pretty nice. Sure, he’s snarky sometimes but he’s a kid. What do you expect? Plus he stays in his room most of the time or he’s hanging out with Jeff. He sees some of the other proxies as his siblings, but he’ll never admit it. Never in a billion years. He’d rather go swimming. Slender does have to trick him into showering because of how scared of water he is. Don’t ask me how bc I dunno. Personally, I would just spray him with a hose. But I digress

🧸 Sally is the average little girl, but she gets angry easily. I’m not sure where people got the notion that she wouldn’t be an angry restless spirit but that’s their opinion and it’s valid too. I feel like she’s usually nice and kind like everyone says but if she sees offenderman or anyone she deems a threat she can and will throw one of her “fits” where she makes the house rumble and she throws things towards the threat. She’s done it because she saw a spider. 🔪 Jeff is an ass. Period. But he does see the creepypastas as some sort of family. He’ll never admit it either. He makes fun of everyone because that’s how he shows affection. The only person who recognizes that is liu, his brother, who says nothing. Slender tries his best to just leave the kid alone, if he’s behind honest he’s kinda worried about him, but he says nothing. Jeff also is really smart he just never uses his brain so no one knows that.

🐍 liu is shy and quiet. Doesn’t really like talking to many of the proxies so he just keeps to himself. He only ever talks to slenderman and masky really. Sometimes he’ll have a chat with his brother, but he and his brother don’t have a very good relationship. He’s very cuddly when he wants to be and only when he wants to be. He loves a good book. Usually true crime books or something with a good plot. He doesn’t like romance novels because it reminds him too much of who he lost. He tries to be as optimistic as possible, but sometimes it’s hard for him.

🍬 LJ is giddy and goofy, always cracking weird jokes. He has learned over time what everyone’s sense of humor is so he’ll make jokes based off of that. Have dark humor? Dark jokes. Have dad humor? He’ll crack a good dad joke. Deep down he likes making people laugh still, he just doesn’t wanna be laughed at. He’s the one who hangs out with Sally the most when slenderman isn’t around because 1. He has the same childlike wonder and 2. Slenderman thinks he’s funny enough to keep that little ball of energy occupied long enough to not run off into the woods and find some poor hiker and scare the soul outta them.

🪓 Toby is kinda a mix of quiet and a fuck. He likes being nice to some people when he wants and then he’ll be a dick to others. I have a headcanon that he has BPD so that’s why he constantly switches between being nice and acting like you murdered his cat in cold blood. Usually he’s pretty nice and knows how to control it most of the time but it gets the better of him. He is also very good friends with Ben and Jeff, being nicer to Ben and meaner to Jeff. I don’t think he’d hang out with Masky and hoodie too often, but that’s just my opinion.

🚬 Masky’s just plain “I don’t want to talk to you leave me alone.” Never has liked talking never will like it. He has exceptions for certain people like Hoodie and Slenderman. Sometimes he’ll talk to liu because he’s actually one of the more chill proxies and leaves people alone unless they want to talk to him. You could also probably find him smoking outside or sitting outside Slenderman’s office because he feels important when he’s near him. 🍁 Hoodie is the opposite of Masky. Wanna talk? He’s so down. Loves talking about everything and anything. If there’s a mission, though? He stays quiet. Doesn’t talk. He’s laser focused. it’s like he has 2 different personalities.

⚕️ nurse Ann seems like the type that likes taking care of people. She is a nurse after all. She just doesn’t like men very much, considering what happened to her. She trusts most of the proxy boys not to do anything, but if they do then she doesn’t let them near her again. She gives off lesbian vibes and I kinda headcanon that she is dating or best friends with Jane. After missions she’ll patch up the people that need it and I think she’d have her own little infirmary tucked in the corner of the mansion with everything she could possibly need.

🖤 Nina is the perfect example of an extrovert. She’s so hyped up and excited that she gives Sally a run for her money. Contrary to popular belief I think she’d be pretty good friends with Jane. They both got their heart broken by Jeff but Nina continues to try and get him to love her. She likes baking and playing games with all the proxies. Sure she’s seen as annoying but she’s really one of the only extroverted people in the manor.

🕷️ Jane is quiet and kind. She likes to help where she can. I see her as religious to some extent? Not a woman of god per say but a different religion. I feel like she would be pagan and have an altar of some sort to some kind of deity. She is usually in the library reading some sort of book or bringing a book from there to the infirmary to read to Ann.

talk to your partner , upfront, about the uncomfortable stuff first ie what kinks does your character like ? what don’t they like ? what’s their safe word ? etc etc . just like how you’d communicate with someone irl about sex !

write on discord or on a different platform first . this can make it a bit less intimidating and scary bc it’s just you and your writing partner and you can giggle and gossip as much as you want

maintain a strong , communicative relationship with your writing partner . talk about smut headcanons ! send each other thirst trap images , aus , prompts etc etc - it’s just like plotting anything else i promise !

understand why you’re uncomfortable : what are you worried about specifically ? investigate it within yourself so you can understand how to communicate it to others . for me , i had to put in an age limit for people i’m comfortable rping with and specifically rping smut with .

lean into the awkwardness. some of my BEST FRIENDS and i have been writing together for literally years , so sometimes i still see them as that 21 year old i met even tho they’re like 26 now ! hahaha . and sometimes when we write 1x1 or whatever and it turns smutty , i feel soooo awkward bc im like .. but ive known you forever ! it’s like suddenly kissing your platonic bestie . it can feel weird and awkward , and sometimes it just doesn’t match , so don’t force it

writing smut with someone can be akin to dating someone (stick with me for a second). what i mean by this is … it’s easy to go on a date with a stranger (sometimes) right ? you don’t know them , they don’t know you. you can be anyone you want , say anything you want , no skin in the game . but say … what if your best friend suddenly asked you out on a date ? that’s a little scary right , because what if things don’t work out and it ruins the friendship ? writing smut is kinda like that. sometimes it’s easier to do it with a complete stranger first (a safe adult who you can then befriend btw not just some rando lmao- stay safe!! internet scary). then you can warm into trying to write it with your friends or learn what personalities etc match yours for smut and how you like writing it , talking about it etc etc .

Okay well I’m gonna start with and mostly talk abt dynamics bc I talk about their majors in another ask!! (Also quick note: I’m mostly basing this off of my experience as a college student in the US as well as the glimpses of college we see in canon so if anything is inaccurate to university in Japan I apologize, this is just for fun and not meant to be too serious!)

But so Ryuk and Light Are roommates, and Misa and Rem are roommates. L lives on his own (or at least without another person) partially bc he doesn’t handle people well but also because he lives with his service dog. She’s a large chocolate Labrador retriever named Clue. She helps him with being autistic, mostly she’s there for social and moral support, as well as meltdown avoidance. She’s a big sweetie and is very good at her job!

Light and L are both still tied for being top of their class and as a result have a rivalry from the entrance ceremony onwards. They’re both on a debate team and definitely have full arguments both in debate and in general but it’s nothing too serious, they aren’t outright mean to each other.

Both of them are friends with Misa but don’t realize it until she tries to introduce them and they both freak out bc like of course she wants them to be friends with the one person they can’t stand in the school, but they kind of tolerate each other for her.

Misa and Rem are dating and are very cute, I love them a lot. Ryuk is just Light’s weirdo roommate that he has no idea what to do with. But it’s chill bc Ryuk just kind of does his own thing 99% of the time so Light mostly ignores him aside from polite conversation and Ryuk does the same. Misa and L are definitely super confused the first time they see Light wave politely to this super weird dude (Ryuk) in the hallway one day.

Misa still models though she’s not as famous in this au, and L thinks it’s cool, sometimes he comes along to watch her photo shoots and do his homework. Plus Misa bribes him to come with sweets afterwards. Light came along once and was bored, and just drank coffee after. Rem also goes along sometimes to support her gf.

Hi nonny! Well, I’ve officially come out to my mom, my brothers, my bff, my fiancé and a couple of other close friends. They know I’m bi, but they don’t know I’m a demigirl, and honestly, they never will. I don’t feel comfortable telling them that, tbh. I don’t rlly fancy the idea of me telling them that, especially when the concept of “gender” is something pretty difficult for many Asians to grasp (at least in my experience, don’t come at me, ok? 😭😭😭😭😭)

ok so I came out to my mom one day when I was still a teen. We were talking about one of my closest friends, at the time, my mom told me the girl had very pretty eyes and I went on this ramble about all the beautiful things things the girl had. My mom was just kinda staring at me like “😯”. So I just straight up went and said “Mom, I like girls as well as boys. I’m bisexual” and my mom (who I knew wouldn’t be homophobic abt it) said “cool, now go clean the dishes! 🥰 or ur lazy ass gonna get whooped” (typical Asian mom, smh). I never told my dad cuz his family is much more conservative and my halmeoni from his side think “gay” is synonymous to “mental illness”. I think my dad kinda guessed it, he’s never said anything about it, tho. My older brother came out as pan a few years before me, when he introduced his bf. Then a few years after me, my twin came out as aroace. They preferred to come out to my dad and I preferred my mom. That’s just how shit is. U tell who u wanna tell, and if ur parents are homophobic then they can go fuck themselves tbh. u can tell whoever u want to ok, nonny? And despite what the str8 media tells u about ur parents needing to be the first to know, it doesn’t have to be like that if u don’t want to. Your friends can be the first to know and ur parents could be the last. Your parents don’t even have to know if u don’t want to.

I came out to my friends and while all of them weren’t homophobic to my face or in that moment, many of them showed their true colors with time.

When you come out, you never really know how they’re gonna react. So you gotta learn to not gaf abt their say on this bc they don’t get one. Plus, at the end of the day, this is about u not them, don’t let them twist you’re coming out into something about them. You don’t have to even tell them and if u do tell them, u r doing it for u, not them. You don’t own anyone anything.

If you wanna know, I‘ve never really learned how to deal w the homophobia and I don’t think I ever will. Homophobia, is not something u assume and it doesn’t always present itself in the same way. Sometimes it’s a comment abt how bi ppl are sluts, other times it’s “joking” comment about being able to have as many threesomes as I want, another time it can be someone straight up calling u a slur. You never know, when or how or from whom the homophobia may come and personally I can’t live with having my guard constantly up. So sometimes I fight back, other times I feel like just ignoring them and maybe a couple of times I break down and cry about it. 🤷🏻‍♀️ sometimes the most “innocent” comment can be my breaking point while some days and don’t even mind them. Honestly? I find pretty scary the fact that sometimes I realize that I have assumed receiving homophobia and slurs to a very deep level.

i already explained this whole thing multiple times from the reblog from op to couple answered asks about it but yes! but i do believe that the whole argument (if there should be one) should’ve been whether or not the spelling should be /better/ as miru or mireu instead, because they are the most accurate (and if we’re being literal, the only accurate ones for pure korean romanisations.) another new example i would have is when we would romanised surnames like seo or suh, choi or chwe. people use both and can be use interchangeably unless the person put one as their actual government name. nevertheless, they are the same. the only difference would be the easier pronunciation for foreigners who doesn’t speak or know korean. if you consume any korean media and pick up their proununciation and how they romanise/write names, you would know that the ‘eo’ sound is spoken as ‘uh’ and for choi, it is written and pronounced as ‘chwe’ (accurately, though they do let people in western countries pronounce it as choi sometimes... like with lee but it’s pronounced as “ih” literally). of course, there can be exemptions to this rule like no one will romanise a name like eunjae as unjae or eunjeh whereas you can use jaehyun vs jaehyeon. thats why i found it a bit ??!!¥!}¥!¥?_!}_ when i saw them use “mir” and their t/n i was a bit disappointed because they tried to localise a pure korean word. one of my pet peeves and the reason why i learned languages is because i reaaaaaaally disliked it when certain things get lost in translation 😖 and for me, this one felt like it. [as in, it just sounded high and mighty to me the way they worded it but even if you try and google the pure korean word, everyone does romanise it as mireu]. in addition to this, it just makes me a tiny bittttt sad because cale has ALWAYS emphasised the fact that raon’s name is PURE KOREAN so this means a lot to me?!!?¥!}¥!¥ [and tbh, i have translated a few rofan and esp wuxia/xianxia centric novels and manhwas so it was so weird to me when a translator’s thought was to try and romanise a pure korean name like it was a borrowed word. but it’s aight anyways since i do read the raws and just wanted to put my two cents in since a lot of novel readers thought that miru was innacurate] [and like i said before, im not sure if this tl team translate terms like hyung or oppa, etc as is but if they do, i just really don’t understand the type of spite they gotta have for them to try and translate miru/mireu as mir......???]

I not really big on opening up to anyone but I tink I need some advices. a while ago me an my ex broked up and while I am glad we not together and I'm very happy wit my current partner and is way very healthier, my ex knew about me being agere and took care of me when I was feelin smol, but my current partner don't know an this is really botherin me. ik that he proly won't care, but I'm scared to tell him cuz I scared he gonna leave. I thought I could keep it to myself and just be smol when is just me, but the other night I regressed when we were watching justice league unlimited (bestest show eva) and I tink I did good at actin big but I feel like I has to tell him bc ik this is gonna happen again an I don't wanna hide who I am. Heya kiddo! First and foremost: you are not broken for being agere.

I feel like I get asked pretty often how to ‘come out’ as a regressor. There’s no right or wrong way, as long as the timing is right and you’re ready to have that talk. It can be nerve wracking for sure, but the good news is you can be open about your emotions once it’s out there! It can also take a lot of anxiety off the partner when you tell them- maybe they’ve regressed too, or they’ve noticed and haven’t known what to do, and now you can openly talk about it!

We luckily live in a day and age where if your partner has questions, there are tons of resources to find some answers! Agere isn’t gross or strange, it’s most commonly a coping mechanism when someone had something happen that made them grow up too quick. If you’re comfortable enough, sharing that can help explain why it happens when they inevitably ask- but if you’re not ready to talk about it, you can always say ‘I’m not ready’ and come back to it later in life.

It’s probably a good idea to come up with ways your partner can interact with you before you bring it up, because the second most common question someone has is ‘how do I act when you’re in that space?’

Different people have different levels of comfort when it comes to being ‘hands on’. Do not start off expecting them to be perfect! Caretakers spend a lot of time basically playing guessing games- especially when they’re new to it. If you’re able to stay ‘big’ enough to still care for yourself at first, you can teach your partner things that make you happy. Bring up your favorite books, snacks that make you small, shows, games, things that you like to be called (like kiddo or little one), anything that’s easy to remember. As time goes on, they’ll learn your ‘tells’ and get better at coming up with things on their own, but it does sometimes take a bit for even the most excited new caretakers to actually get a footing.

I also want to offer that my dm and askbox are both always open for first time cgs looking for tips! I’ve been on both sides of agere, and I know how challenging it can be to try and navigate the craziness, but I also know how worth it everything can be when my star is sleeping soundly with their paci and stuffies. All relationships take a little work, but if you both spend the time learning about each other, it will be worth it.
